Has SMU offered CJ Roberts
Posted: Thu May 07, 2015 10:29 amI have been wary of the validity of this "recruit" for some time now. My AAU team has played against him numerous times I've followed this "story" since last year. He played JV ball as a freshman for N Richland Hills, then all of a sudden it was reported by Texas Hoops that Illinois offered him after his JV season??? Now after playing on varsity his sophomore year and averaging 14 ppg he is being "offered" by the big boys.
On Texashoops.com last week it was reported by Nathan Baldwin, TheHillTopics.com that SMU offered the kid. Anyone seen him play? I don't think SMU, Purdue, etc... have offered. Maybe I'm wrong.
