Not sure.
Potential options include:
- Bleacher Report (Turner) (makes sense with their investment in talent / NBA deal)
- Fox Sports
- NBC Sports
- OTT (over the top) / his own website (a la what Glenn Beck did with the Blaze)

Simmons is a great writer, but I'm not a fan of his TV work.

I'm guessing he'll create his own site again, like he did with grantland. Yes he sucks on tv, but he's by far my favorite national writer.

He was my favorite sports writer until his writing began to consist of infrequent columns mostly filled with mailbags
Maybe this will mean more writing in his future (not holding my breath)!

Agreed - I used to like him a lot in the 90's as only a pure writer. He lost me when he changed and went to TV. He was so white, it was cringe-worthy. His pre-game & halftime opinions were awful and he is obsessive love for the NBA makes me puke.

Hopefully he'll go back to just writing. Regardless, the guy did a lot for ESPN - Grantland and the 30 for 30 series. Both are great.
