We are fighting for Vick with Kentucky and Kansas. We are fighting for Williams with the Zags and G-town. My god, how far we've come in three years - a force in college basketball. Please appreciate that, and thank LB.

Yep, it's awesome. And now it's time for us all to realize that we ARE one of the big boys. I have clearly embraced the "we will play second fiddle to no one" attitude. In bball, bring on anyone. On the court and on the recruiting trail. They all have to compete with US. In football, that day is coming . . . and sooner than anyone outside of the 1500 realizes. Pony Up!

Gonzaga and Michigan are coming to Moody next year and neither will be handed a "w."
Holy Cow..... How far, how fast!

SMU went from a place top talent was instructed to avoid like the plague to a place they know they can grow and develop. My personal next milestone for this program is to get a player drafted into the NBA.
Also I still can't get over how packed and rowdy Moody gets. I remember as a student being able to walk in late and get a seat close to the court, even when they were playing a top team.

agree, but does anyone else think its odd that Self and Calipari would try to steal a guy committed to the Godfather, their coaching Godfather?

I wouldn't put anything past Calipari, but if a player wants to grow his skills with a world class coach instead of sitting in a posh daycare for a year he should go to SMU over UK.

I do. As I've said in the past, I would hope Self, Cal, Wright, and Turgeon would at least respect players on our team, players we've signed, and commitments as being off limits.

If you are talking about Vick, he decommitted. He is fair game for anyone.

i have to think he decommited once he was already being seriously courted by Self and Cal. hope i'm wrong, but doubt it.

He decommitted because he wants to sign with this class and my guess is the NCAA penalty leaves us a scholarship short.

If you believe the talk then we do with or without JW3. We still havent even heard about that outside MSU may have entered the picture.
