Winners tomorrow:
SMU over La Tech--probably close
Nevada over Tulsa--not as close as you might think
Hawaii over UTEP--not a close one
SJSU over Boise--a close one
Rice over Fresno--another close one

Outside of Hawaii, Nevada is probably the toughest place to play in the WAC. (altitude?) Nevada is 11-2 at home. Their 2 loses were to UNLV and La Tech, each by 2 points. I will admit that Tulsa has a chance in this one but playing the odds I will go with Nevada. If the game were in Tulsa then I would take Tulsa. No wagering please, even though I have a staggeringly stellar record I never bet on sports. This is for entertainment purposes only. As noted by their win at Nevada, La Tech can be a very formidable opponent. Could be a real nail-biter tomorrow.

Tulsa is 11-2 at home this year, 8-1 in the WAC (only loss to SMU!!!!) and they bring the fans (8K+/game). IMO, I have little doubt that Tulsa is the toughest place to play in the WAC, not Nevada. They have three of the best players in the conference, Dante Swanson, Kevin Johnson, and Jason Parker, two of which are seniors who have played deep into the NCAA tournament. I would be very surprised if these guys loss at Nevada and if they don’t win the WAC tournament, which is in Tulsa.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four 2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs

Yes, the tournament is in Tulsa, but tomorrow Tulsa plays Nevada, in Reno, and I think thats what Nacho meant. Nevada has been very tough at home, I could see them winning that one.

Nevada didn't win and Tulsa won't win the tournament. You negative ones might as well face it. We've beaten everybody in the WAC that's playing in the Tournament. We're going to be on ESPN on Saturday. And we're going to beat Tulsa. I know nacho and PX will both be very happy although they love to [deleted] all of the real mustang fans off with their negative comments. Get ready, because tonight was just a preview of Q leaving SMU with a bang.

After our glorious victory over SJSU look-alike La Tech, I now predict wins over Boise, Nevada and Hawaii. With the NCAA tournament now a certainty, the sweet 16 is all that we should be thinking about.
BTW congrats to Q for being named WAC player of the year and the much maligned BHop for beig named WAC freshman of the year.
