Bobby Knight

Knight is giving TT back his paycheck because he didn't feel he did his job this year. The guy may be crazy, but he leads by example. Do you think his players will give back their pay this year?

Ha! Nice line.
You have to think that will be helpful in recruiting, when he tells kids "You don't think I'm serious about winning? I gave back my salary." Not that he needs the cash, but that's a brave move.
He and Jim Harrick couldn't be more drastic polar opposites.

we should have gotten bobby knight when he was available. he would be great for smu. another case of the administration dropping the ball.

There is no way that Bob Knight would ever have come to SMU.

Tech was the perfect situation for Knight. A school in a major conference, small media market, and an administration that has let him do his thing. If he would have come to SMU it would have been a circus. The Dallas media would've hounded him constantly. He probably would have killed someone by now.
