I'm crushed for the seniors who have brought so much joy to all of us.

So, basically Syracuse did something wrong for 10 years, we do something wrong for one, and we get the exact same penalty? SUE SUE SUE

An appeal definitely looks like the best of a bunch of bad choices. Our seniors have endured a ton of BS.
They deserve to go out giving their best effort.
If that happens I'll guess that LB hits the bricks after this season leaving us right back where we were before him…maybe worse. Everybody left transfers out.
Let's go out big.
Appeal…..and then sue the crap out of the NCAA. I vote the nuclear option.

I feel that this will be cut in half, including removal of the postseason ban, upon appeal.

With the NCAA more likely to result in a doubling of our punishment rather than halving it.

I enjoy your sense of optimism right now but I can't fathom how it would be reduced on appeal given the NCAA hardon for us.

Billy Embody: Hearing that #SMU will appeal sanctions. They're brutal, but disturbed by #NCAA taking this long to decide. Hurts seniors at SMU the most.

Trying to calm down. The only reason this would be this severe is if they found that SMU did, indeed, pressure the DISD to change Keith's transcript. Right?
If that is the case, Turner is in a lot of trouble because he appealed to the school on Keith's behalf.

Nic and MK can't transfer so we better do everything we can to have postseason an option.

Don't worry about the appeals - already on it
