about SMU's course of action sooner than later. They have a fan base that is completely freaking out right now.

There was a single bulls-eye in this whole deal. Plain and simple. The NCAA finally had a chance to put a bullet in Larry Brown and they didn't hesitate in pulling the trigger. Boom!

Why him and not Calipari, Pitino or a half dozen others? Is it because Brown is at SMU?

You don't want LB in front of the press at this moment.

Don't think you have the coach at the heart of the sanctions speak out, at least not just yet. Let the President and AD give the official response, then have LB come out at a (slightly) later point and make his case (which he has always done eloquently and with a great deal of sincerity). Then announce the small army of a legal team we just hired to blast the NCAA back to the [deleted] Stone Age!

I'd like to hear from Hart and LB

I think that depends on what course of action the school announces. At some point he will have to face the music, but today not the best idea. Pick a friendly venue to do that. Not when every reporter in town will be at your presser.

True but with LB's history of bolting, I'd just like to see him be there. I bet 95% of the sports media expect a resignation letter from LB soon. I'd be nice to put that to rest.

Because it's SMU and not Louisville, or Kentucky. LB got relative slaps on the wrist when at UCLA and KU. It's about protecting the big boys at the cost of anyone else who wants to compete.

From an outsider's perspective I would not be surprised if he resigned. It's his MO.
