They are next but the NCAA won't be as severe with them as they could be for the same reasons why Syracuse wasn't super severe - the infractions took place for the most part before the "new rules".

Their violations are not a lack of control of the Athletic Dept. They have a lack of control of their whole damn school.

Our infraction took place before the "new rules".

I don't care what the 'new rules' are. I distinctly remember a documentary about a cheating college football program where one talking head featured said "I think it's pretty clear you don't pay players, you don't buy them houses, you DON'T TAKE FAKE CLASSES...." and that was what? 1986? New rules nothing,
What's amazing to me is not only the fact that they cheated, and did it for so long, but that it was prevalent and obvious that it actually opened the door to even more cheating by even the regular students. That, to me, is an even bigger problem. You have to have school administrators, department heads and even possibly a dean, that know's about this. If that's not the definition of "lack of institutional control" I don't know what is.

Let's see 3100 violations, 1/2 for student athletes =1550. Figure 30 sports. That's 51.66 violations per sport. Thus, the entire UNC athletic program should be banned from all postseason play for the next 50 years if their violations are treated proportionately to ours and that's being generous to UNC.
