We got our ban last season with that bad call

How about that for an argument.
The result of the widely accepted bad call at the end of the 1st round NCAA tournament last season, SMU was essentially banned from last season's tournament.
Add to that the arguable shaft job SMU got the season before when they were excluded from the tournament.
Hmmmm...?

and we got banned the year before with the snub, regardless the NCAA does seem to have it in for SMU I know it was over 30 years ago but seems things die hard

I'm sorry to have to say this, but the 30 for 30 Pony Excess film did way more to hurt this athletic program than anything that has happened since the actual DP. I deeply regret it was ever produced. We are indeed the perfect soak the rich whipping boy and these basketball sanctions a screw job of the highest order.
