https://sports.yahoo.com/news/new-book- ... 33537.htmlLouisville is investigating allegations in an upcoming book that a former member of the basketball staff paid escorts for sex with recruits and players.
I see a hard slap on the wrist in their future.

We are lucky they are not in our conference anymore or you would probably be right.

Sounds like Pitino "failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance"

I expect some witty signs from the students tomorrow at the game. We all know they love Rick Pitino.

This is getting good. They have text messages, and photos and the publisher professionally investigated before publishing to make sure true. From ESPN below. Louisville is toast...
The book is scheduled to be released by IBJ Book Publishing LLC -- a sister company of the Indianapolis Business Journal -- as soon as this weekend. According to the IBJ, players will be named in the book, which also has several photos of Powell and other escorts with recruits and Louisville players.
The IBJ tweeted one of the photos Friday night.
Powell told the IBJ that part of the reason she is doing the book is to make money. She will receive 10 percent of the book's sales.
She also felt her story needed to be told.
"I decided to write the book to tell my story and to let people know what goes on inside of college basketball ... and how they get their new recruits," Powell told the IBJ. "It's important for people to know ... how young kids are persuaded to do certain things by sex, drugs and alcohol."
The publishing company said it paid investigators and Pultizer Prize-winning reporter [deleted] Cady to vet Powell's story and based much of it on journal entries, photos and text messages.

Pitino had ncaa issues in the 70s at Hawaii.. Was dissociated from the program. Then Applebee's. Now this. I'm going to have to insist dickie v call for his permanent banning from the ncaa

when you think about, this is an epic scandal that Louisville is now facing. Massive. If they wiggle out of this, the publisher in Indy should do an investigation of that hallowed NCAA head office in its backyard.
