Jank's Nine Game "Test Drive."

One thing that looks fairly certain is that LB is gone for the first nine games of the season. While other aspects of the (f****in) decision may be appealed, Brown's suspension likely will not.

This means that our "coach in waiting" isn't going to be waiting much longer. Hopefully he gets to show his stuff with our full roster. Nine games makes for a pretty decent little audition.

I actually kinda like that.

We all will be pulling for Jank to have a great 9 game run.

I have wondered what kind of coach he might become; what he has learned from Larry
since he has been here; and what his thinking might be related to our current problem.

My guess is that he is very good and hopefully that is what we will see.

Jank has worked with some high quality coaches and was putting together a pretty good program at ISU before he left. Will be interesting to see whether he sticks around and eventually succeeds Coach Brown

Does Larry still get to coach in practice while he is suspended? Is he allowed to attend the games during his suspension?

My guess would be he can attend and coach practice but not attend games.

Let's just say he needs to be ready to coach the new comers.

My understanding, which could be wrong, is that LB cannot have contact with the program during the suspension. I don't think he can coach practices.

My thoughts were purely a guess.

Good point.

They came together. Do they stay together? Here?

And after the Jank/Nic relationship there is the Nic/Markus relationship.

And on it goes…

This could be like dominoes…or not.
