Pearson Valiant in Loss

As expected Ft Lauderdale Dillard beat Miami Northwestern 64-54 last night in the Fla 6A Final 4 but Devon Pearson had Dilliard shaking their heads with 21 points and 14 rebounds. The article said the Dillard players were disgusted and disappointed in their performance because they got muscled and manhandled inside-they must be referring to Pearson who had twice as many rebounds as Dilliard's top rebounder. I think that makes 3 20 point Double-Doubles against top competition in the last few months. I don't know what he does against other competition but he seems to rise to the occasion. Again a 21 point nite is even more impressive when your team only scores 54.

Those are great numbers Stallion. We could really use some active muscle down low in the coming years. 21 and 14 is serious in that low scoring contest.

So .... could this guy be another Jibran Kelley? Active rebounder, quick interior defender, but maybe with a little more offense?
I'll take another Jibran any day.

If you want to compare stats, Jibran averaged 19 pts and 12 rbs his senior year. He was a Street and Smith All-American, USA Today All-American, etc. At the time they signed Jibran was considered to be a bigger recruit than Q.
