SMU Basketball Practice

According to NCAA rules, basketball practice may start 42 days before the first real
game of the year for each team. September 27 was the first practice for some teams
and so I am assuming that SMU practice has been underway for some time.
According to SMU rules - it would look as if LB is not on probation until the season starts.
If by season, do they mean the first game of the season or do they mean the first practice
of the season?
So I have a few questions that hopefully there will be some people with inside knowledge that
can let us know - 1) Is Larry practicing with the team? 2) Are there any players who have
not attended practices? 3) Is any recruiting going on? 4) What is the current attitude of the
team? 5) How do the new players look?
I know I'm nosey, but I can't stand it - I need to hear some good news and I can hardly wait
until our first game.

Somebody posted a pic on here the other day showing LB running the first basketball practice. All returning players were there.

Since you were there 94 - can you give us some flavor of what you saw.
Can you answer any of the questions in my original post?
Or, have you been sworn to secrecy? What's up with that?

This may be my pollyanish side (and it is pretty big), there is a part of me that hopes that the seniors are out there practicing because they are committed to staying.

They might go, but I don't see it as inevitable. Sure, if they stay at SMU they don't get to play in the post-season. And that sucks. But they do get another year under LB and do get the benefit of his assistance at trying to land paying gigs after this year, whether that be in the NBA, Europe, etc. And my guess is that the assistance he can provide in the regard is considerable.
So what is a bigger priority for these guys right now. . .the tourney. . .or setting themselves up to go pro in some form or fashion? If its the latter, staying in LB's program doesn't look like a bad option. We'll just have to see.
