"He’s everything that we’re looking for in a player and a person. He’s a good student, he plays multiple positions and he’s a high-caliber kid. The more kids you can get who play multiple positions the luckier you are, and he has a chance to be really special. It’s a huge plus for our program.” --- Larry Brown

Tom Wilson (G, 6-5, 180) is a guard for Coach Adam Caporn at the Australian Institute of Sport. He was the captain of the U17 and U19 Australian National teams. In the gold medal game against the USA (lost 99-92), he had 23 points, six rebounds and seven assists.
“We’re getting a terrific young player. Tom is just a really good player that can play more than one position, and he knows how to play. The Australians have done really well internationally. They have a great program, and they have the Sports Academy. He could have gone to a lot of different places and we’re very fortunate.” --- SMU Head Coach Larry Brown
