Anybody know if we have any interest in these two guys that are leaving Texas Tech? Doudney is apparently a terrific outside shooter with some defensive deficiencies. Michalec is a 6'10" center who in Knight's opinion needs some work.

I would think Doudney would fill a hole on this team.....someone who could come off the bench and hit some outside shots.

Anybody know anything more about these guys or have any thoughts about pursuing them?

Dealing with Doudney's mom could be a real chore.

SMU had alot of interest in Doudney when he was coming out of high school, most schools did. He turned down a scholarship offer here to walk on at Tech for a year. Tech was up against the 5/8 rule and couldnt give him a scholarship until he was a sophomore. CPC would think we still want him.

Dont think SMU ever pursued Michalec that hard, he didnt show any interest in coming here. He's a bit of a stiff, anyway. Not sure if he would be a wise use of the scholarship.

Doudney origionally signed with Tulsa. When Buzzard left for TN, he wanted out of his LOI. Deal was struck and TU denied him admission. Then he walked on to TT.
