Sure, Stanford is rebuilding a little bit and doesn't have a floor leader right now.

But you don't just walk into their house and control the game like we did. That was very, very impressive. Not the point differential, but the way the game progressed. In control of things pretty much from the start.

For the last two years, everyone worried about Nic. Could he stay healthy? Could he stay out of foul trouble? All the pressure was on him. Not enough ball handlers. Not enough scorers. The rest of the team was built around the inside, which wins a ton in the regular season, but guards win in the NCAAs.

Now, all of a sudden, Nic and MK can still score. But Ben can score. Shake, Jarrey, Keith, Tolbert. All can score. Nic, Shake, Jarrey, Sterling, Sed can all handle. And the team passes so well. Easily better than any other team in college. The college version of the Warriors/Spurs. Much thinner on the inside, but a very athletic team that makes up for it, and can shoot as well. And then you add Semi to the mix.

It really sucks that this team can't go to the dance because of the new rule. They would have a legit shot. Shake is going to be such a stud that if we can get two good bigs to sign SMU will be a force next year even losing MK and Nic.

Stanford was a good road win but it was like playing in a library. We really dont have a stiff road test until we travel to Tulsa. The good news is that there is plenty of basketball between now and then for our noobs to continue to improve and impress. And by then we'll have had Semi for a few games.

Michigan will be a huge game for us. And Vegas? Could be a massive confidence builder.

it's a damn shame that we can't go dancing this year. i like the new kids but i feel like Nic and MK are irreplaceable .. especially Nic. Had a legit shot at the title this year. I don't think it's a long shot for us to finish in the top 10 at the end of the season.
