Does anyone know any details about this girl? Is she a steal? Does she have the talent to start next year? Can she take over Kaci's spot? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Talked to several coahces and the consensus is a real top notch recruit. Very important commitment at this particular time as the summer ball get started. The feeling is that she will have a great summer and fall and everyone would like to have her....and she is a SOLID, SOLID commit for the 'Stangs.

Great pick up, Coach Rompola!!!

I just wish we had Kaci Alexander coming back for another year. She's going to be tough to replace.

By the way, the SMU website listed the women's team handing out awards:

Women's basketball team awards presented at team banquet
Senior Kaci Alexander selected team MVP

DALLAS (SMU) -- The annual SMU women's basketball team banquet was held Friday evening at the Crescent Club, where several players were honored with team awards based on their performances from the past season. The Mustangs posted four more wins in the 2002-03 season than the year before, and reached the semifinals of this year's WAC Tournament.

The awards presented were as follows:
Most Charges Taken: senior Kaci Alexander
Most Improved: sophomore Alisa Wright
Super Spark; sophomore Shonte Roberts
Most Rebounds: freshman Sarah Davis
Best Defense: junior Shanta Ramdhanny
Best Offense: junior Andrea Cossey
Team MVP: senior Kaci Alexander
