In the opening page of Ponyfans - Sterling Brown is showing the kind of intensity
and sheer joy that he gets from playing and that is what makes him a great player
for SMU. It seems like he is everywhere on the floor doing all the things that it takes
to win.

Love Sterling, his follow on a blocked Shake drive was a huge momentum play last night.

For the record: His intensity did get a tech on a dunk after the whistle. And nearly got a second, I heard the ref warn him if he played after a whistle again he was getting his second and out of the game.

We keep getting that older ref for our games and he is terrible.

I've noticed him playing a little different this year. Wonder what's going on. He seeks contact after plays more than previous years.

He seems to be yapping a bit more too. That'll probably change when LB returns.

Yes, I agree the intensity thing has cut both ways for Sterling this season. I actually thought he was going to get his second T after he refused to let go of the ball when the tie-up was called. I could hear the ref yelling at him, "Let go of the ball!" Don't need him or anyone else getting tossed over silly stuff like that.

I think he and the rest of the team are kind of frustrated with the new foul rules that don't allow them to be as physical.

That's true. Markus looks a little lost for the same reason.
