That was an awful game. TCU kept it close with crazy shooting from beyond. We should have easily won, but it was just one crap shot to the next.
Hopefully we play up to a real basketball team as that was not it.

BTW - We should be embarrassed that we played as poorly as we did. TCU has zero skilled players and their offensive sets were a joke. Just throw up a long three pointer.

How many times are we going to keep saying that teams stay in it with "crazy shooting from three" before it just boils down to the fact that defending the three has been the worst part of this team for years?

seems like several of our biggest losses have come when we struggle, fight back and then break out to a 9-10 point lead and then relax right when everybody is smiling and high-5ing. Tonite we had outscored TCU by 21 points during a time frame and failed to stomp on their throats. See NIT and NCAA losses plus several others. That was a good sign to comeback but we need killer instinct. That was almost deja-vue all over again

The officiating seemed to throw both teams off for a while. The whistles were fast and furious in the first half.

I thought TCU's Slovakian was skilled. He has a nice offensive game.

TCU has a little bit more talent than we are giving them credit for-the two guys that hurt us both were Top 40 JUCOS and had plenty of top Major offers-the Euro and Malique Trent. Kaviar Sheppard was highly recruited 4 star too. Those 3 guys combined for 39 points and 20 rebounds

to say they have no talent is just wrong. We are getting so spoiled - we don't think there are any normal level teams that should stay within 20 of us. Fact is, teams get up for us now, especially when we are not in Moody.

When the 3s are from 1-3 ft behind th arc or with a defender out on them you can't complain and call it bad defense. Wide open off of screens and double teams is bad defense. Right now the ratio seems to be about 80-20 the right way.

TCU is a skilled and well coached team. They played smart defense which cut off our passing lanes and forced us to go iso, which Nic handled perfectly.
