TCU Broadcast

Boy am I glad we are on ESPN most of the time.

Broadcast starts with 20 seconds of a black screen with audio that indicates they don't even know that they are on the air.

Next, it sounds like the commentators are in a tunnel for about 5 min.

After that, I was wishing I could not hear the commentators.

"Kennedy is the sparkplug of this team, but Nic Moore sure is taking that role on today" Wha????

Hack job. Hack Network. Hack Gym. Hack team.

Big12 is a Fox Sports conference. It is definitely nice being involved with the ESPN networks.

I recorded the game and watched some of it when I got home. FSSW has a partnership with the Big 12 and I believe one of the guy's doing the game calls all of TCU games. Even the commercials were all TCU ads showing that ugly campus.

Guessing that was the guy with a purple tie and purple pocket square?

The announcers spoke from a TCU point of view which was frustrating. I eventually muted them and turned on Rich using the TuneIn app.

Announcers were awful homers.

Anyone else notice the bad video quality?

I was so happy to get the game on TV I didn't mind. I tend to totally tune out jokers like them and just watch "harder."

Might have been mention in another thread but didn't the announce multiple times say this is their 190th match up? whaaaat?

It was the 190th or so game-we played twice a year for 80 years plus probably more in SWC Tournament

ya i caught that when one of the announcers yelled "Yes" when a basket dropped in for TCU after bouncing around the rim. So glad we won, I couldn't handle their smug faces after the baylor/tcu game this last week. This would have just added to it.

That was a TCU production; those were TCU's football announcers.

Correct, this game was part of TCU's third-tier rights. TCU has an agreement with Fox Sports for the broadcast of their third-tier broadcasts. Same with the SMU @ TCU football game this year
