Just got a note that Michigan has returned about 20 tickets for Tuesday's game at Moody Coliseum. They're in section 200.

Well here is a shot of their upcoming Dallas alumni chapter events, so no wonder.

Looks like they are at least slightly organized, though.

Having a watch party at Mockingbird Station = priceless

Surprising given how other big ten (specifically Ohio state) schools turn out at their official football watching spots.

Good. Hope the Michigan turnout is as small as the UCONN and Memphis turnouts since we moved into new Moody.

The Arkansas game will always be my least favorite game at Moody as their fans were everywhere, and of course, we lost.

I think the SWC-era folks would disagree with that and I would too. They certainly didn't takeover and they didn't even call the hogs until the end of the game.

I don't know, it definitely felt like it was 50/50 at best for SMU. That could be colored by the fact it was a four or five beer night though.

I guess I'm curious by what you mean that the older folks would disagree with that. I wasn't saying I dislike playing Arkansas, but more so that they brought so many fans and we didn't have a good turnout (in my recollection). It was Nov 25th so maybe all the students were gone for Thanksgiving. Anyway, apparently I wasn't the only one who thought this was the case.

Having a good amount of opposing fans (a sections worth) is great and ramps up the environment. But by judging the Michigan fans at home in the Crisler Center, I don't think they will make a lick of noise. That place is a morgue. Goes for football too. Reminds me of the Texas crowd. Great people though

50/50 for the Arkansas game last year? That's some crazy revisionist history. We haven't had a visiting team take over the stands at all in new Moody. It's nearly impossible with the season ticket base now.
The Arky fans from last year were up in the middle to top rows of the coliseum b/c that's the only place they could get tix, and then randomly sprinkled throughout.
Interested to see the Michigan turnout. In theory it's the best chance for their local alumni to come out and support them, but sending tix back is surprising.
