The D on LeVert was simply spectacular. We held him to 1-13 Shooting and 5 pts. He was averaging 18 pts. a game as was considered one of the best players in the Big 10.

Should be noted the 1 shot made was a layup very late in the game. Hit nothing from deep.

Keith did an amazing job on him, especially when he didn't have the ball.

I thought for sure the coaches must've challenged Keith to make a statement with his defense on an NBA prospect. Was there any mention of that in Jank's press conference?

Jank said Keith spent extra time in the film room watching LeVert. That is the kind of work ethic coaches at the next level will love to hear about. LeVert really struggled against us because we could match his athleticism and we were putting in the effort to guard him. If I was an NBA scout I would be concerned about LeVert as in the NBA there will always be someone equally athletic across from him that also knows what they are doing. maybe it was a one off but watch him against the better teams in the big 10.

Keith probably earned some pro consideration last night. He is still raw in their mind - but you have to think about an athlete like that and what they do for your NBA team while they are on the floor if they care at all about defense.

Most importantly, Jank said Keith went to him and insisted that he wanted to guard LeVert.

Keith just cost LeVert a lot of $$$ last night.
Even the Michigan fans agree:
