Got to give hoop max some credit here, he was always down on thomas. Doesn't speak well for thomas that he quit the second he lost his spot. He probably viewed himself as a one and done but he clearly isn't. Assuming he would have to sit at least halfway through next would we still be interested? He would definetly get minutes here next year and after.

Now if Davis wants to transfer, we will roll out the red carpet. I can't think of a more perfect big for our roster.

I know the scouts were high on him last year, but I saw him play a couple
of times and I wasn't impressed. I thought he had a very low basketball IQ.
He was overweight and lazy. In fact - his only plus factor was his size. At around
7 ft in high school you can get dunks and rebounds but in college you have to contend
with higher competition. I don't think he would have ever fit in with the team that
Larry has built.

He lost a lot of weight and is in very good shape now. I would not automatically turn him down and I would not down talk him publicly since he might want to come here. I down think we are in position to turn up our noses up at any big that might be interested in us. Saw play a little at aTm and he looked pretty. One of the knocks on Marcus Kennedy was that he was overweight when he transferred his freshman year and look what he has done for us. But in this case Thomas has already lost the weight.
