http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketb ... ansferringHe and Elijah Thomas were good friends in high school and played together at Rockwall before Elijah transferred away. Coincidence that both he and Elijah announced their intentions to transfer at almost the same time? Maybe, maybe not.

Anywhere but smu.
No need for drama with limited upside.

I don't like this trend of guys bailing a semester into their first year. It screams of entitlement and a lack of competitiveness to me. Coming out of HS, I liked McQuaid a lot more than Grandstaff but if LB feels like they can help us, I'm all for it.

If we can get him, ARob, and Thomas we would have an all transfer team.

Also Coach Morris might disagree with you on DFW kids.

During the period of time these kids were being looked at and recruited by SMU I got the distinct impression they were indecisive and fairly shallow personalities. Just the way articles portrayed them, their responses to the schools recruiting them and their inability to make definitive, solid and confident decisions. Yes, they are young, but those uncommitted, indecisive, pampered, always looking for a better deal traits plus easily swayed tendencies profile kids who have a lot of maturing to do and who would be a real tough coaching problems. One semester indicates the neither made any realistic attempts to settle in, adjust and give the coaching staff a chance. Then again, they may have been overwhelmed academically and sought to flee and/or finally facing the reality that they are not so great and could not deal with the competition on the team and dedication necessary to play.

Confusciois says comparing football and basketball recruiting, means no knowledge of either.

I was just messing with Hoopmanx because he was making a board statement. I do understand what he is saying form a basketball only prospect.
