UNC will get off super easy. As will Louisville.

Man that's a big penalty. But it tells me that since ours was even harsher, that they really look at probation status and prior sanctions and weigh them strongly.

It tells me that they threw the hammer at SMU based on violations 30 years ago, but still admitted that our compliance program was really strong... which means we win the appeal and see a significant reduction in scholarships lost.

That's a good take, I think.

Shouldn't the fact that they should have caught UNC several years ago be taken into consideration too? I know. I know.
