Kent State's Coach said they did not play well but they shot above their average from the field and from 3 (48%). They turned the ball over 17 times though and shot poorly from the line at 60%.

There was a reason they didn't play well. It's called defense.

It was interesting to see Keith come off the bench in this one. He gave us a defensive spark right away.
He is a totally different player than he was two years ago.

Had they hit a few more free throws it would have been a closer game.

Of course if markus didn't go 1-7 with a bunch of missed lay ups it wouldn't have been "just" a 16 point win either.
