I have no clue how you beat a team that makes 12 threes when you make none.
Sterling Brown might be the most underrated athlete at SMU in forever.
Cannot stress how unbelievably good our two freshman are....every game one of them make a difference.
Hello Top 15.

That was impressive. Coming back from the run they put on was other worldly. I was sure we were going down.
The crowd was unbelievable. Actually both were at the end. Made for a very exciting game.

Yes, the crowd came across awesome on the tv. Great job by all the PFs there.

Both freshman have been great though Jarrey does struggle a bit defensively (he gets lost often but can cover a fare amount of his mistakes with his athleticism and length).

@franfraschilla: Love SMU freshman guard Shake Milton. Watched him a lot so far & doesn't get rattled. Someday, not now, an NBA PG prospect. Scorer with IQ.

As bad as it looked for a few minutes there it was never in doubt in the arena. So proud of this team.
Colorado played out of their face and except for the fact they couldn't hit free throws down the stretch, they gave us their best game.
Ben Moore and Jordan: all tourney team
Nic: MVP.
ON TO TULSA.

Interesting to watch us go man the entire game. Jank really shook things up defensively. LB had none of that. I think the lack of multiple looks hurts us at times.
Offensively, the team struggled when Colorado went zone. I think part of this is when LB coaches, we don't play zone a lot in practice, so we have to ease into it during games. When the other team changes defensive looks, we go cold at times under Larry, and I think it is partially because we don't change things up on the defensive end. Just a thought. Love Larry, not complaining

.
Also, when we get into our offensive sets, it seems like we play much closer to the three point line when larry coaches. That is part of the reason we don't take as many threes - the spacing isn't quite there.
Absolutely love how Shake finished the game. He really screwed up a few times during Colorado's big run. We have seen frosh in the past bury themselves after something like that. For a frosh to rebound and finish the game like that is really neat to watch. Love the mental toughness of the team overall.

He is not as strong or mature physically, but shake reminds me a bit of Emmanuel mudiay with his frame and body control. Shake is a better shooter. In any case he is a great prospect and pickup for smu

we went cold offensively with both Moore's on the bench. Shake needs to improve in running the offense but he's doing great as a freshman-I still think he's much better off the ball but I guess most freshman are

I think Sterling being subbed in for KF is what snapped the cold streak.

That was one of the most fun SMU games I've ever been a part of. Glad I made the trip. It got really heated in the building. Just wanted to say Colorado fans are some little [deleted]. Glad we kicked their [deleted]. Agree with Sterling being one of SMU's most underrated players. He is a great glue guy and doesn't get enough love. Hate to dwell on the negative but this is another non-Moody game that KF didn't show up.

But Keith won us the Kent game - its a good team who can trade off the hot player.
