What an absolute shame. We can only hope that he's OK.

Is the DFW getting any news re this that the rest of the country isn't? We keep hearing that some BU teammates may be suspects but nothing else.
My prayers are with BU and the family. Let's still hope he shows up somewhere OK.

The Waco PD will hold a press conference tomorrow around 4:30pm. I have a feeling the news will be shocking and very tragic. There is a lot we have not been told. Also, the FBI is now involved.

According to the Washington Post, his car apparently turned up in Virginia Beach, without tags. A lot of geography in between Waco and Virginia Beach. The family is apparently blaming the school for not reporting his disappearance fast enough. The Police are pretty closed mouth, but seem to be leaning toward some teammates according to the Article I saw in the Post. If the players did it, that will decimate their program, and probably lead to the firing of Bliss.

I would suggest that everyone keep in mind that we know few if any facts other than that PD disappeared. The rest is heresay, even if it was used to get a search warrant.

Dotson, one of the Baylor players confessed to the FBI that he killed Dennehy and has surrendered himself in Westminster, MD. where he is being held without bond pending extradition to Texas. As bad as things have been for us, I guess there are worse things than losing games.

Interesting thought. Do you really think SMU would bring him back?
(Of course, we do still have a coach in place, so this is all hypothetical.)

yeah- If the BU recruiting issues coming out with this escalate to a scandal, the SMU powers are almost sure to ask him back.

I don't know - he might be viewed as a link to the era gone by that the school is trying to leave in the past. Even though it was from a different sport.

Waco Police Department has released information that the body found in a field south of Waco on Friday, July 25, has been positively identified as Patrick Dennehy through DNA testing. So sad.
