http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketb ... e-scheduleSMU's seniors
A nine-game suspension for head coach Larry Brown. No postseason, the final judgment from the NCAA following an academic scandal. Could you blame Nic Moore, Jordan Tolbert and Markus Kennedy if they moped and pouted all season? Nope. But that's not what they're doing. The undefeated SMU Mustangs, led by that group of seniors, have decided to smash the world until they're no longer allowed to compete. That's true pride.

Hopefully we'll keep it rolling.
As this story spreads it will benefit The program.

Don't underestimate this. If our guys were a bunch of Kentucky kunuckleheads they would have pulled the rip cord. That we have our team and they are playing at a very high level means they have been supported internally by everyone they have come in contact with - including administration. That bodes well for our future.

The team didn't quit. And the FANS didn't quit. Both have been very pleasant surprises.

The fun is in the game, one win at a time.

LB is the glue that held this thing together. The fact those guys held firm actually says a lot about him as a person and not in a way [deleted] Vitale would ever understand.

This. We dont give the fan base enough credit. Especially bc we bash them in a new attendance convo every other week. The fan base has responded very well. The average fan could have packed it up until next season. Yet we are still a feared venue.

2 losses or less and this feels like a 30 for 30 begging to be made.

I think our fan base knows what Nic and MK have done for this program. SMU fans need to enjoy every remaining game with these guys and realize whatever success we have moving forward is a result of what they started.

Just make sure we don't lose these two.
