What now?

For those of you who know more than I do, what do we do if KF doesn't come back? Can we really compete well with just 7 scholarship players plus one walk on?

Someone was mentioning one of our FB players who was pretty good in HS BB. I do not recall who it was but seems he was a taller, big bodied kid who could at least give some minutes.

You gonna put a walk on in with no LB training at all? Unless there is no other option maybe but I think they go with the seven plus Wilfong. I just can't see LB putting up with a noob. Those two guys on the bench are at least soaking up what they can.

I would think you are correct. But at least let the other 2 put on uniforms in case we have yesterday's Memphis like foul issues.

Thedford at least looks like a basketball player and could possibly be useful for foul trouble.

Yup. Total last resort.

I could see us finishing a game with four before one of those guys plays. JMHO.

Might as well slap a uni on the lobster.

If he can play in the costume that might be our best option.

But can he still hold his beer?

The good news is we are deepest at Keith's positions.

Quick math says with 8 guys you average 25 minutes per.

With seven it only increases by 2.5 minutes.

Hopefully the refs swallow their whistles.

I did notice that it seemed unusually easy for USF TO get inside shots uncontested last night.

Cincy should spent the entire first half pounding the ball inside to get SMU in big foul trouble-why don't these teams do this-its SMU's Achilles Heal. We really only have 10 fouls to give from true big men. Maybe some teams don't have the players to get it done but Cincy looked pretty damn physical against Tulsa. That's how SMU will get beat this year

I doubt that. The NCAA wants us to lose ASAP. I'm sure a lil birdy will whisper in the ear of the officials doing our games to call it tight. One of the refs last night was calling touch fouls early on us. He also got in LB's face after the Godfather complained.
