I really like their new arena. First game tomorrow night against Bama. Cost 96.5 million. How much did TCU spend to renovate DMC?

I would rather play at Old Miss than Texas Christian if I was a player.

Ole Miss > TCU, and it's not even close. I'm especially liking the open window on the side of the pavilion. TCU should have done a complete tear-down. UH needs to as well, I went there with my parents recently and it's even worse in person.

I still think TCU's looks the exact same

That glass panel up high looks really good. Like an old field house. Overall great job and, for the money, light years ahead of froggie.

That's what I have been saying on all of the threads about the new TCU arena. TCU boosters were sold a bill of goods about the cost prohibitiveness of a new arena. It simply isn't true that you can't get brand new for what they spent on their renovated obsolescence.

They were sold a 40 or something million renovation and costs soared to 90. Poor planning.

Nice facility there. The baseball field at Ole Miss is named after a great uncle of mine. So I've got that going for me.

They claimed a new facility would cost 160 million

All the reports I'm hearing is that it was done first class all the way. Here are some photos from the first couple of games:
