I know its the players who won, but i just have to give some props to that crowd. When we came out of the time out at the end, down by seven with 2 minutes left, and our students started cheering for the players as they came out there one by one…i just got chills. They were not giving up on the team and were basically giving them respect for being in this game with only 6 players. Then the entire crowd stood up and got REAL loud and all of a sudden we had some energy.
There was almost no way to imagine a win - so that is something pretty special. Glad i was there to see it.

The ten or so guys in the corner closest to the UC bench were on fire. THey were loud, relentless and lead the entire section to be one of the best i have seen - which is amazing considering school was not even in session
would love to know what they were saying.
also enjoyed the "on camera" beer drop.

I had never in my life witnessed a crowd carry a team to victory. That was a first.
Two or three minutes left. Down seven. Turned it over, and then a media timeout. Everyone in the joint thinks the game is over, lost.
The players start to come back on the floor after the break; for some reason they came out early. Cincy was still in the huddle. Heads down, gassed, spent, our guys start to huddle.
Then, out of nowhere, the students stand and start to clap. Slowly, it spreads around the stadium. Everyone standing, clapping, cheering these kids who have given their all. By the time Cincy broke their huddle and the ball whistled into play, the stadium is deafening. And it never stopped until the game was over. Not a soul sat down.
That was the damnedest thing I have ever seen. Unbelievable. People were teared up after the final horn. Absolutely amazing. Moody Magic, indeed.

AND about 80% of the crowd stayed for the playing of Varsity. That sums up the night.

3rd person to notice what a special moment that was-it was pretty cool. I wonder if Larry sent them out early on purpose?

Cronin called TO's in the final minutes to counter the impact and volume of the crowd...that is how you support the team. It was great watching it on TV and I can only imagine how amazing it was to see in person. Great job Moody!
