This is a sad, sad story to begin with - and I hope that Baylor can recover from this stuff - but it looks like Bliss may have a lot to hide, outside of the legal problems:

According to the NCAA website, they've had two major investigations involving sanctions in basketball (the last one in 1995). If they are guilty of misconduct, I suspect that the NCAA will be looking at post-season sanctions.

Barring Baylor from postseason tournaments (or bowls, for that matter) is kind of like barring Pauly Shore from the Oscars.

Or Tiny Tim from the Iron Man competition.

I agree, but it does impact basketball recruiting when you are barred from the Dance (especially all the transfers with limited eligibility that they seem to sign). On the other hand, they'll probably dump Bliss. They won't be able to sign a better recruiter because they'll be on probation. I suspect they'll be in the basketball dumpster for the next decade.

When was the last time this happened? The NCAA website does not go that far back! Image
