I replied to him on twitter - I thought his take was unfair.

LB couldn't build a team without cheating? please...

...still waiting on those UNC sanctions, by the way.

Dude is such an ACC homer with his [deleted] for Maryland. I've been to games at UMD. It is an armpit.

Normally I really like SVP, but that was a crap take.

Don't think he is being a homer as much as he is being lazy...just assumes gross violations b/c we are banned from the tourney and probably didnt look into the matter all that much.

Total Crap. Guys like that hate our teams story. Again no mention of how BS the post season ban was on players who had nothing to do with anything. A total swipe at our conference (UConn, cincy ect.).
He's just a P5 lover at the end of the day that will give no legitimate credit to our team regardless of what they do.

We need to publicize the spin someone else had last week and run with it. Rocket docket for smu for a single isolated event for a player not even there anymore ;crickets for Carolina among others.

Just once I'd like for the national media guys to make note of the facts that (1) it was limited to one class for one player, (2) Keith did not even need the class and it wasn't a part of the his final transcript, and (3) oh by the way, Keith isn't even on the team anymore. The comment about Larry not being able to build this team without cheating isn't really relevant when the only player involved in the cheating is gone.

Jay Bilas has been very good about that. When the sanctions were handed down, and certain people (i.e., Vitale, [deleted]) were calling for Larry to be banned permanently, Bilas went scorched-earth more or less on Twitter. He not only discussed in detail the isolated incident here with Keith (well, the only incident that could be proved), but he went back and discussed Larry's stops in Kansas and UCLA, pointing out that--at best--the violations were ticky-tack in nature.

I hate to say it, but his tweet is actually true. Our conference all in all is not that great this year. We haven't played a single Top 25 team all year. It isn't our fault, but it is the truth.
