Iowa State is starting a 6'9 guy at the 5 spot tonight. Size isn't that big of a deal in college. All about the guards. Just ask UCONN and their last NCAA championship team.

Posted: Mon Jan 25, 2016 9:11 pmsize definitely matters (in all things). Houston gave us a game due to size. You can't get rebounds you are toast - particularly when you get in the tourny. Not saying you can't have a good team with 6-9 guys ( we have one now) - but 6-10 and 6-11 and athletic provides a huge advantage. But for one crappy call - we go well into the sweet sixteen last year a large part due to post height.
