I still can't get over the fact that we've won 18 with only 1 loss.

Here is how I'm putting the last few days in perspective:

WE lost ONE game….(a game I had a ticket for and couldn't get to)

Losing that one game got us more national press than we'd get in entire past seasons.

We also signed a guy that (we hope and expect) could be a part of 100 or so future wins.

Now that we have got the loss out of the way we need to Pony back Up and get to 19-1 with a strong win over Memphis. If we rip off a string of wins again after this 1 loss we will stay in the national news, which is important to keep recruiting at the level we are.

Best record in the country with only one loss.

Had anyone told me that we'd be 18-1 despite having only 7 scholarship players and a postseason ban I probably would have called them crazy. It's incredible what this team has accomplished! Really going to miss these seniors.

Amazing the impact our 3 seniors have on our team in comparison to the impact 9 seniors have at Tulsa after being #2 in the conference last year.

W/a full roster, no transfers, Semi eligible at midseason and Gu contributing, I had us at 17-2 just after schedule was announced. The team we currently have, sitting at 18-1, is testament to these kids and this staff. The cohesion w/which they play, while Rome burns around them, is a special kind of focus and character
