Mavs Game vs. Miami (2/3) is SMU fan night

Just caught the end of a commercial promoting an SMU fan night at the game. I've never heard of the Mavs doing a college night and I looked on Mavs.com with nothing listed. Anyone know about this?

It's a great idea, but the hats suck. I got one for the Rangers and the mesh in the back is real cheap. It would be nicer if it were material all around.

Why would you assume the Mavs and Rangers use the same hat?

And the pic in the link above, they look like identical hats. It's a great idea and I am glad the metroplex pro sports teams are recognizing the college teams. But the hats are cheap, call me what you want.

Goes to a bigger point that has been discussed a lot. SMU fans generally don't buy cheap gear. Our bookstore carries polo and Peter Millar.
