Awesome and congrats to Shake. He has really been the surprise of the season....for me at least carrying the weight he has.

Can't wait to see Shake next year when he has a full season of experience under his belt. And Jarray for that matter.

Awesome. Way to go Shake!

I saw Shake and Jarray at Cafe Brazil after the SMU game vs. Memphis. They were with their families and both guys were so quite and acting nonchalant. The folks in the diner paid them no attention (except me who yelled out "way to go fellas!" as they were leaving).

We'll probably see Marquette's Henry Ellenson at Madison Sq Garden next year. I hope we someone who can match up with guys like him.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ellenson declares for draft as projected as a top 10 pick by many.

Congratulations Shake. You are already playing like an upperclassman and we look forward
to seeing what you can become in the years ahead. You will be able to lead us for a
long ride in the Big Dance.

meanwhile...Shake is just 15 three-pointers away from breaking the record for the number of treys hit by a FR at SMU. Three guys are currently tied with 54 (B Hop, Stephen Woods & Jabari Hearn). With 7 games left to play, if Shake gets hot in a couple of those games, this is a record within his reach, He is currently tied with J Frog and Robert Nyakundi for 5th on the all-time list

Shake within striking distance of breaking the Frosh 3-point scoring record at SMU. I was hopeful he would look for more shots last night against UConn to help take some pressure off Nic. He needs to light it up against someone...especially if teams focus on taking Nic out of the offense. With 5 games left to play, he needs 11 threes to break the record

Shake stays on pace with 2 more threes to break the Frosh record. Needs at least 2 per game over the last 4 games plus one against somebody. With his fast start today, I thought he might get 3-4 but just couldn't find the range in 2nd half

needs 7 threes over the course of these last 3 games to break the record. With 2 home games, I think there is a good chance that record will be broken
