Nice! Allright Q. Too bad the owner doesn't care to ever win

I saw Wilcox play against the Mavs - that kid is going to be good if he gets some PT. They also have [deleted] (ZhiZhi)and Brand.

Some old friends on their roster. Congrats to Q!!!!! Dunleavy is a good coach--they may finally be getting it together.

Good for Q. He deserves a shot. So Cal is a great place to be a professional athlete, even if it is with the Clip. BTW, Q will be fighting for PT with Quentin Richardson, Keyon Dooling, Eddie House, and Corey Maggette. That is a talented group of young guards but hopefully Q's work ethic will help him find some time.

Dunleavy was living in D/FW before he was hired by LA. I'm sure he was fimiliar with Q during his time at SMU. Dunleavy is a good coach and should change the attitude of that franchise.

Donald Sterling may not be interested in winning, but he is interested in saving money, and I can't imagine Q is making more than the minimum. Maybe that will help him stick in the Clip Joint.

The minimum isn't exactly chump change.

($356,000 first year)
Quick question though-- is it a guarenteed contract or does he still have to make the roster this fall?

I would assume the contract is not guaranteed. This year it looks like none of the undrafted FA's are getting any guaranteed money. Even Mark Cuban was unwilling to offer Marquis Danials any guaranteed money for his 1 year contract.
At some point during the season, salaries become guaranteed for the year on all contracts. Not sure when though.
