Who do we want to win tonight?

I would say UConn. We do not play Temple again and we play UConn, who we have owned in every sport forever, twice. So knock Temple down a notch and beat UConn twice.

Temple just made an incredible comeback. They were down 12 with about 5 to play and now they have a 1 point lead with a minute to play.

Melt down by UConn with stupid TOs. They lose.

That was quite a collapse

They picked a bad time to collapse. This is another obstacle for us in that Temple
is now tied with us, but they own the tie breaker because they beat us and we do not
play them again.

I do not care about the tie breaker. If we are tied at the end we are co-champs. Isn't that the TCU rule?
We just would not get the #1 seed in the tourney in which we do not get to play.

Temple has an easier sched to close out the year. It would appear that their toughest
games will be at Tulsa, at Houston, and with Memphis at home.
We play UConn in Conn; at Memphis; UConn again at home; and at Cincinnati.
I hope you are right, Mrydel, about the tie breaker. If we can run the table we could
still come in as co-champs or we can hope that Temple falls in closing out their schedule.

temple is very inconsistent on offense. See their loss at ECU and blowout at home to Houston. They will lose a game or two before it is all said and done. Could be three, @Tulsa, @Houston and another random game where the offense sputters.

I tried to be for UCONN, but I just can't. I think Temple will lose a couple. I just don't want UCONN to have a lot of momentum as we play them twice.

I caught the end of the UCONN Game - they absolutely blew it. For those who did not see - they had the ball and chance to tie and then threw it inbounds to set up the final shot with 18 sec to go and the UCONN player proceeded to dribble backwards over center court for a backcourt violation. He wasn't really even being pressured - he was just not aware of where he was.
I could see Temple losing at Hou and at Tulsa. Hou and Tulsa have A LOT to play for right now and should both have great rowdy crowds for those games. Should be fun to watch - need to start putting those games on my calendar to tune in! AAC basketball is a lot of fun.

He actually doubled dribbled. While dribbling he touched the ball with both hands. But they continued to turn it over 2 or 3 more straight times after that.
