Did anyone else see the Gonzaga Team acknowledge the SMU Crowd?

VERY cool if they did and something we should steal from them....

I saw it. They applauded as the were walking off. Like Euro soccer .
It was classy and SMU should do it too. Win or lose with class is a tribute to the university

LB took special note of this in his presser and was very complimentary of the gesture.

Gonzaga is total class all the way.

They had a decent amount of fans there. I think they were applauding their fans (although I like the thought).

our fans down low were giving them some very nice applause as they were leaving. Hope we connect with them on a long term deal - good for both programs.

Do they still have a multi-year series with Memphis? If that's over, we'd be a nice replacement.

Class class class. Keep this series going. Both teams have nothing to lose when we play each other. Quality competition.

This is why I think it would be classy of SMU not to boo visiting teams when they take the court.

Indeed. It drives me nuts. Also, not every call against us is a bad call. I would prefer to have a great atmosphere in which it's hard to win but nice to visit. I'd really rather hear/read about our fans and our team being classy than hear us boo the other team when they take the court, boo every single call against us, and treat visitors without respect. It's really not that hard to be a rabid fan but not a total jerk.

Maybe they will start selling tea and crumpets at Moody.

so last week our fans and students aren't rowdy enough and now we should politely applaud opposing teams and be gracious hosts. ok.

Gonzagas arena atmosphere is more hostile than moody, the students in particular so don't think they were particularly off put one way or another

It can be a tough place to play with rabid fans without being embarrassingly disrespectful.

When has Moody ever been "embarrassingly disrespectfulI". Get a grip.
