You know it is fully entrenched in me that I am nervous watching a replay of last nights game. Look forward to the day I can get over that.

Don't hold your breath. I have been a Mustang since 1971 and still can't get over it.
It is a lifetime curse.

yeah - we were up at half and everyone at the Miller center was acting like we were doomed. As a fan base it would be nice if we eventually started acting like winners.

Whenever our opponent, regardless of the school or player, shoots a three, I have no doubt it is going in. I keep thinking that will end someday but so far it hasn't.

I too am held hostage by Peruna's Law:
Greatest BBall team in 30 years - banned from post season play.
Greatest Bball recruit ever- turns pro
Football team finally on a roll- coach shuts down recruiting, becomes known he wants to go to ASU, ASU pulls offer, coach retires in place squandering 3 years of football recruiting thus destroying the program.
Joins Big East (power conference )- conference implodes relegating it back to 2nd tier status
These are only the recent examples of Peruna's Law. I've been able to block out many others.
I am condition conditioned to never get my hopes up, to always believe that when something good happens something worse is on the way and to just know we are doomed to mediocrity.
But I sure love games like Gonzaga, Cal, UConn and some of our bowl wins. Maybe the good Lord has exacted his punishment and we will now get consistent quality football and Bball teams. Untill I see a pattern of long term success - I will believe in Peruna's Law.

We have to wander in the desert for 40 years.
We won the cotton bowl finishing with a share of the national championship in 1983.
You do the math.

If it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all. Wisdom from Hee Haw.
Add in were members of SWC, Got death penalty.
SWC implodes as each school turns in others to NCAA.
Join the WAC. It splits, we go with the toaster leavings.
WAC loses best teams, join CUSA.
CUSA loses best teams, join BE.
BE loses Catholic schools, becomes AAC
Backfill from CUSA.
The one piece of good news is that we finally separated ourselves from Rice.

LB makes up for a lot of that.
