Once again a sorry sorry showing by SMU students.
Is it too hard to get 200-300 students to come out and support a 24-4 product?
May not ever solve it --- Last year was far far better.
This team deserves more.

There were easily 200 students. We need 800-1000.

And there's A LOT more to do in Stillwater than go to a basketball game.

From what some of you have posted earlier, maybe the student-ticket allocation needs to be re-thought? Don't show, then lose your place in line... the entire process sounds too time consuming and complicated for many students to want to play the game.

Whatever....so you are saying it's ok to be like OSU because that is what they do. I would prefer to be more like a Duke or Gonzaga. Thanks though.

I spoke to someone in the AD and they said that those seats can be taken by ANY student. Yes, there is a point system, but empty seats can easily be filled. Bigger issue is they are not showing. Same person mentioned we have some alum seats vacant as well (was a good point).
I realize people cant make every game, but there are certain rows that are ALWAYS vacant in the red seats. Tulane.....blah....blah...blah....BEST team we have had at SMU in 30-Years.

Yes - let's compare our crowd against a crowd for a team that has gone 3-13 in conference play. Imagine what SMU's crowd would look like if we were 3-13?
Actually, you don't have to imagine, just think back to the Coach Doh years...

Maybe it's the opponent right? True NCSt is around .500 but surely they turn out for Carolina?

So the allocation system is OK? I thought some of you were complaining.
It looked like the alumni had a higher percentage turnout than the students did Sunday. Don't forget some of the most loyal alumna were priced out of the Red seats this year and replaced by those that just want to be part of 'in crowd'--' first to leave should our record fall.
