I know no one gets an actual printed newspaper anymore but I'm still surprised no one is talking about today's as yet. Very interesting, good from a rivalry perspective, but frankly a very odd thing for UConn to do!

It is all about their transparent effort to entice the Big XII into letting them join. It has nothing to do with us.

Kind of Strange.

First of all, it is the entire back page of the front section, not the sports page. Then it directs you to watch it on ESPN. I wonder who paid for it and I wonder if they wanted their money back after they lost to Houston which really took the steam out of their late season push.

Guess it was meant to impress the Big 12.

Irrespective of their intent, I'm impressed they spent the money and will probably get some good press out of it. Something we need to start doing as well.

SMU I will offer my services to the marketing department at no cost. Let's get this thing rolling (in anticipation of next year)!
