Future Conference Scheduling

I suggest we take a page from the euro soccer leagues' book and alter our conference scheduling in the future. The top 5 or 6 teams of the league plays each other twice in the coming year. The conference champ does not play the last place team twice, 2nd place doesn't play the second worst team twice, etc. Removes a weak opponent thus improving the strength of schedule and avoids what we had this year with us not getting a return shot at Temple. I get it that some teams will go up and down from year to year but it would be something to set us apart from other conferences

I guess we shouldn't be surprised given our luck that the only conference matchup we don't have this year is Temple at Moody. This is why head-to-head is not used as the tie-breaker, schedules are not even. BTW, the luck has to start swinging our way eventually, right?

Virtually every major "euro soccer league" plays a double round robin. Only smaller leagues like Scotland have unbalanced schedules.

I am just wondering what our OOC scheduling will look like next year.

Exactly. The BPL is 38 league games, 2 vs each of the other 19 teams. 19*2=38. Round robin.

We should be playing everyone twice, period! If it means one less OOC game then so be it.
