24-30

We did not play well and give Cincy credit on the Defensive side, BUT you have to be kidding me on the calls. They were 24-30 from the line to our 8-12.
Did not believe in conspiracy until we got handed the post season ban for absolutely nothing. NOW, Cincy needs to get in the Tournament for the benefit of the Conference and conveniently get handed 30 damn shots from the line......

We had 17 turnovers (many unforced), played bad O, and missed roughly half a dozen free throws (shocker, that's never happened before!). That's your story.

Clueless!
Not blaming the refs for the loss. Pointing out that the team that needs to go to the NCAA Tournament got WAY more calls than we did.

Here's the point, aside from the astronomical statistical imbalance. The part where the refs go to the monitor to see who the ball went out of bounds on, and the tv is replaying it over and over showing two clear fouls: 1) the hack on the arm; and 2) the uc player behind who is kneeing our player in the thigh. Who cares who is was out of bounds on? Worst officiating I have seen all year. It caused our team to play a different game and gave Cincy an edge. I know about our failings as well, but this was obscene calling of the game, clearly to help Cincy get into the tournament. Kudos my *&^!.

I just rewatched the game and tried my best to be objective with the officiating. It was obvious slanted to Cincy. Cincy played way more aggressive/physical on the defensive end and the fouls were Cincy - 13, SMU - 21. FTs - Cincy - 30, SMU - 12. I counted at least five times we were fouled on shots and nothing was called.

Anytime the fouls are more than double for one team when both are taking it to the rim/playing in the paint and you have some bad calls by the ref. The replay at the end was horrible...no way was that Cincy ball. With all that being said we were cold as ice and Cincy played good D so they get credit for the win.
I just hurt that the seniors ended on this note as all 3 and especially Nic and Markus deserved better.

Ok, I had to make an account just for this. I had the same feeling that a 2-1 discrepancy in foul calls is bull and usually indicative of bad officiating. But you really oughta pull up the box score from the last SMU/UC game.

The game was over before it started. We had no chance in Cincy.

This. I hate that we lost, but the game at Moody was much more poorly officiated... to our benefit. That's just how it goes sometimes.

The irony of a guy name DukeBlueBlood complaining about officiating is rich and delicious

we go to the rim harder than most, so we are typically going to draw more fouls. It is REALLY rare to have the foul count that high the other way vs SMU. Will leave it at that.

Duke gets all the calls....Blah...Blah....Blah... If you really looked at the last 20-Years, Duke has a slight advantage over their opponents, but maybe, just maybe that is part of K's gameplan. Facts suck!

I think a more important number is 17
