SMU did their Job!

SMU did an excellent job of not blowing games to the bottom of the league but giving all the bubble teams a top 11 RPI win!! SMU finished 13-5 w/ losses @Houston, @UConn, @Cincinnati, @Temple and to Tulsa.
Essentially a perfect situation for the AAC.

It just sucks that Temple won the conference championship despite being a mediocre team. Too bad Cinci and UCONN did not take care of business at home against Temple.

Every projection I've seen has the winner of the 4/5 game (UConn/Cincy) winning the AAC tournament.
