congrats Markus - well deserved. No idea why someone would say this is surprising. He was a force off the bench most of the year.

I just find it a little funny because he's really a "first team All AAC" type player IMHO but because of circumstances last year (academic) and this year (injuries) he wasn't a starter and so the award is a little bit a "come on, man, he's not a sixth man of the year winner, that's not even fair" kind of thing. Lol.

Happy to see him get the recognition, though, nonetheless.
