Mr. Emmert / NCAA

I watched his (head of the NCAA) interview after the last game yesterday. He really seemed thoughtful and respectful. I couldn't help searching his email and sending this note to him. Before you crucify me for grammar and writing skills remember I am a huge fan and put my money where my mouth is, but I am not an english major by any means.
Mr. Emmert,
I am an SMU fan and have watched the NCAA comment on schools and make punishment decisions on schools over the last few years. The punishment to SMU was completely overboard and harsh compared to infractions and punishments at other universities.
It should/could be corrected by adding back some scholarships to the SMU program. The number of scholarships taken was absolutely and completely unfair. We turned ourselves in when we could have covered this up, we do realize Larry Brown messed up in the early stages of this investigation process but quickly corrected himself. If this is the reason to punish more kids its wrong, you could have doubled his personal penalty.
In the March Madness TBS interview you sounded extremely concerned about doing the right thing for kids, if that is true then please do the right thing by correcting this wrong. Several kids will go without a scholarship due to the overreaching loss of scholarships by the NCAA and almost seemed personal to SMU fans.
The selective punishment is getting old and most people in the real world don't have much respect for the NCAA's selective policies. It makes you look really bad when it is generally the smaller schools being hammered while the money makers get a pass. See Florida State past if you need an example. In addition, it was fun watching the big money school UNC go to the final four while we watched at home, I expect what they have done is astronomically worse and pales in comparison.
You seem like a thoughtful good guy, please do the right thing here.
