Just once it'd be nice to see a DMN writer actually write an in-depth story about the top 25 basketball program coached by one of the most famous coaches in the sport that is five miles from the DMN offices. This past season was nothing but printing stories from other media outlets, fluff pieces before games and stories about our violations. Maybe I'm expecting too much...

Dallas is pro sports town?
Cowboys snd Mavs stories sell papers?
We get the coverage we deserve?

I usually defend the DMN but other than the Gosselin story awhile back and the rare Nichols story we never get any in-depth coverage, ever. And the excuse that we aren't any good doesn't fly anymore.

Look at how much coverage NTSU gets just because Brett Vito is writing artcles for the DMN's Denton rag. What else does Bill Nichols have to do all week?

As soon as the ncaa starts another SMU investigation, we'll get our coverage back.... and more than a mention on Hansen.

Froling is a Mustang and Bruno/Kapita want in, they just need to qualify. Just need one of them and Moore

What are we waiting on for Kapita? Thought he it the ACT score he needed already.

Exactly. Are we really confident we will get one of those two?

I haven't seen kids ACT obviously, but I've heard it's not good enough to pull his gpa up the scale. Still somewhat a mystery why we took him, other than the fact that LB loves him. Could have just been LB hoping on a prayer, b/c most think he's a lost cause, Well see.

No, but Bruno just tested again. Im not gonna sweat kids qualifying yet. Even then, we'd be fine if neither came, so long as GU can go. That way we can play tough and small, if need be

We would be down to Fro, Ben, and Semi down low. I agree it is too early to sweat it but thats pretty thin. One more makes a big difference.

Wouldn't Kapita just keep taking the test?

Its thin upfront but workable. I'd rather have 4 bugs, but if not, play small w toughness. I think Sterling, jarrey and Ben E help in that regard
